The name Deerswood was born from an idea by our dear Mum Vi and used as a stud prefix for the beautiful Persian kittens she bred back in the 1970s in order to help support my show jumping - more about that is mentioned in the section for the Cleworth range.

On Vi’s retirement the name remained in cobwebs, until in 1990 Deerswood Rosettes was established as a family business designing and manufacturing bespoke quality rosettes, sashes and printed ribbons here in the UK, of which Vi again played her part by assisting with production.

Moving forward into a new era Deerswood whilst still a small family business with its focus on ease of ordering and supply of a quality product, can now welcome customers old and new to our mobile friendly E-commerce website with the added facility of Messenger for assistance when required. We are still available via email or telephone on evenings and weekends if you prefer.

With digital full colour printing available for rosette centres and continuous printing on ribbons of your choice as additions to the traditional gold and silver foil we can offer more choice without the extra cost. There are lots of new features that we hope you will enjoy not least of all the launch of our flagship range the Cleworth which is completely our own design for something different, and the Deerswood Designer section giving you the opportunity to design your own rosette with our help and the use of our components. Some of our old features remain such as a friendly service from experienced staff with no VAT to add.

Finally, as the Deerswood name continues into the future with another 2 generations of the family coming on board the future is looking rosy. Those of you familiar with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) will know how lucky we are to be able to re-use a very close version of the name i.e “Deerswood’s“ as our prefix for the next venture which is to hopefully breed Ragdoll cats in memory of Vi. The actual name cannot be reused however we have had the privilege of the next best alternative being accepted which we are delighted about.
